The signal of a radio is impaired with each obstacle it has to pass through.  This can be a particular issue when using radios in vehicles. The Mitex magnetic base mount antennas are designed for use on vehicles and buildings to enhance your signal. The base will stick securely to any metal structure and is ideal for the boot or roof of a vehicle, or the outside of a metal building such as a farm barn or outhouse. Just detach the antenna from the radio and replace with the BNC connector on the cable. Fix the antenna base to the desired location and attach the other end of the cable. Your radio will now work as if you were standing outside the vehicle, giving you better range and reception.
