Because the range of a radio varies depending on the environment you use it in, we offer you the realistic expected range of:

• Vehicles or Buildings - 1/2-1.5miles (Up to 2.5km)
• Built-up Areas - 1-2.5miles (Up to 4km)
• Wide open spaces - 3-6miles (Up to 9.5km)

IS THIS RADIO RIGHT FOR YOU?

1. Digital radios will 'cut-out' audio at the edge of range, unlike analogue where you'll still get some static noise. So if you need to be aware that a user is trying to transmit at the edge of range, perhaps for safety reasons, then you may want to consider an analogue model such as the Mitex General Xtreme.
2. Digital radios are superior to analogue giving you longer battery use and slightly more range, but if you need to reach longer distances than standard two-way radios can provide, you might be better off with an LTE Network POC radio.
