 The Mitex General Xtreme is a robust handset with a longer lasting battery than the standard Mitex General model. It also has the option of a 2000mAh battery available to purchase separately. IP66 means this radio is extremely water, dust and dirt resistant, making it suitable for harsher environments such as farming, warehousing, catering, sports, leisure, events and hospitality.

Pre-programmed channels mean you can use the radios straight from the box, all you have to do is complete the application form that comes in the box (or online RADIO APPLICATION) and pay the £75 fee which covers you for 5 years. Don't like filing in forms? Because the range of a radio varies depending on the environment you use it in, we offer you the realistic expected range of:

• Vehicles or Buildings - 1/2-1mile (Up to 1.5km)
• Built-up Areas - 1-2miles (Up to 3km)
• Wide open spaces - 3-5miles (Up to 8km)

IS THIS RADIO RIGHT FOR YOU?

1. This radio may experience interference from other users nearby. If you need more private or secure communications the Mitex General DMR model may be more suitable for your requirements.
2. If occasional interference is acceptable the Mitex Link uses less widely congested frequencies to give you 'quieter' channels.
3. Or the Mitex Security uses obscure codes to reduce the chance of hearing other users conversations.
4. If you want to consider another durable option then the Mitex HD or Site may be a better choice.
