Good quality

This antenna is slightly shorter than the original one when folded down and the top locks into the body of the antenna, keeping it sealed. However, when extended, it makes a noticeable difference to the range.

It might look antiquated but this will boost your signal significantly

Extended range and clarity.

Took it 3 miles away from home (open country). Went inside building and tried antenna extended, compared to closed (and standard mitex uhf antenna). Far greater clarity and stronger signal report from mitex radio being operated from home. Looks a bit 1980's technology, but does the job.
