• Built-up Areas - 1/2-3/4miles (Up to 1.2km)

1. This radio uses 446MHz frequencies that are in high use so you will likely experience interference from other users nearby. If you need more private or secure communications the Mitex General DMR model may be more suitable for your requirements.
2. If a license free radio is sufficient for your needs but you wish to reduce interference from other users, the Mitex 446 Programming Kit is available to change the channels to different frequencies and tones. Just add this to your order using the options above.
3. If you need to  reach further than the estimated range above you will need to consider the licensed version, the Mitex General Xtreme.
